Award winning bear artist Maria Crouchley of C & M’s Bearhugs has taken over the organisation of the  Nottingham Bear Fair.

The bear fair is held twice a year at the Midlands’ premier art centre, Patchings Art Centre, Calverton. 
Easter Monday and August Bank Holiday Monday.

The art centre was established 20 years ago with the aim of giving people easy and free access to art and crafts.

In keeping with this, the fairs will be run on a non profit making basis, entry to the bear fair will be free to the public and all monies from the stalls used for advertising.
